Hi, I’m Mary, the New Jersey-based creator behind The Jeweled Cat.

I’ve been obsessed with the art of jewelry making since 2018. What started as a creative spark has grown into a full-blown world of gemstones, precious metals, and a little bit of magic. While my roots began as Mary Catherine Jewelry, this new chapter is all about embracing the bold, the whimsical, and the slightly mysterious.

I’ve always loved a good story; in fact, I’ve dedicated my professional life to telling them. By day, I’m a journalist, uncovering the narratives that shape our world. But when the sun goes down, I trade my keyboard for metalsmithing tools.

Every piece you see here is crafted by hand, whether carved by wax and cast using the ancient lost-wax method or painstakingly forged. I source stones with character and work in solid metals only; these pieces are made to last and turn heads.

The Jeweled Cat is for the seekers, the dreamers, and the people who find beauty in the unconventional. It’s for my hippie, mystical folks who want their jewelry to feel refined and elevated.
